in it came 20 different mineral samples. 1 shine control, 1 lose powder, 4 blush colors, and 14 eye colors!! yays!!! considering the fact that mac retails each eye shadow for a hefty 25 over bucks. My entire purchase is cost almost the same price as ONE mac eye shadow! but in so many different shades of color... next challenge. To experiment the different colors, making sure they dont look gross on my face. ahhh... i so wana learn eye make up without looking like those blue eyed SIA girls. No offence.. but im sure they hate their eye make up too!... what can be better than Self experiment!? id start tomorrow..

Bahhh.. i am So coughing my lungs out. Dragged myself to work on Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday (ultra long day), and FINALLY. FINALLY. FINALLY. tonight, i can just cough all i want without fear of losing my voice. whaha... Cuz its my OFFDAY and i get to sleep in, chat on msn, sing to all those stupid songs while sounding like a frog without a care in the world. NO NEED to "preserve" my voice.. can "zhao xia" (go out of tune) allllll i want. Just have to be back in shape by thursday. where id go "Welcome to XX, this is Valerie, how may i assist you?" -- In the sweeeeeeetest voice u can ever imagine. hahs. i dont sound like myself over the phone. thats why i sound sweet. bahh..

a friendly and easy goin colleague by the name of valent came over and said: "HEY! both of u look alike... are you sistes???" (Refering to me and charlie, as we sit tgt at work)

i replied.. "Pls lar! no way... in what way do we look alike!? IM PRETTIER!"

I told charlie what valent said to me.. her reply.. "Please lor!!! im prettier!" haha.. great answer. Just exactly how i would give an answer. :P

ahhhh... life... its never the battle of the prettiest, nor the most best dressed, nor the richest, or biggest boobs, etc.. haha..

Somethings in life are better taken with a pinch of salt. When valent said that, i could have felt unhappy that i wasnt differentiated, or charlie could have been mad with what i said vice versa... but we just shoke it off as a joke... Whats the point of being so serious sometimes... ahhh... i sense tension building up at work... With leonard unhappy with a particular "CHaractEr"... and that person constantly stepping on all our toes... every day at work simply adds to the 101 stupid things which people of authority can do.

Sick Sat + Fam dinner

Im sick again. ugh.. hate it. The sensation of havin ur throat burning, head thumping, nose dripping really sucks. At least i didnt fall sick when i was havin my exams. or WORST, when im in germany.

Had family dinner with mum's-side-relatives today. Drove there and back without a glitch... WoOo.. well, thats because i spent 1 hour the night before staring at the only physical street directory i had at home. (and its in chinese!!!) tough luck. aniway... i made it and thats what matters! hah.

LOVE the food there! they're all such great cook!! and can i also mention that they're also such nice people!!?? haha.. knowing i was goin 2 germany, they voluneered to lend me stuff, etc... they asked bout school, my work, even al! haha.. 2nd aunt passed me some stuff she got frm HK too! They even passed me medication knowing i was sick... ***Sweet!***ahhh.... i love them.. love the food too! haha..

I remember reading in one of my marketing text that a discount should be 40%, followed by 60% then 80%. We singaporeans, jump at a mere 5% discount! (not to mention 20%).. guess it aint in SG retailer's culture to slash their prices to clear stock. If only they did. then we kiasu singaporeans would never buy stuff at the original price. we'd just wait till 40% or even 80% discounts! hah. Who wouldnt! :)

i am on my way to being "ANTM" (sniggers at myself) and SO im on a diet. *ahem*... but models in making do binge at times and they DO have craving too!! So val decided to grab anything available in the fridge. JELLYFISH.

1 pack of jellyfish didnt suffice.. and i had craving for TANG YUAN! soooo i contemplated, debated, discussed with al. and decided to HAVE tang yuan. Boiled water... took out the tang yuan. waiting 2 pop it in, LO AND BEHOLD!!! they've turned mouldy. BaHhhh.. Just my luck.

Next available thing in the fridge... SMOKED SALMON!!
cut the vacum pack open, took afew slices out. tidyed the place... took afew bites and almost puked it out. too fishy for my liking i guess.. :( sighh i was never a fishy person. but salmon tasted nice at times... not this time tho...

Decided that id have SKI YOGHURT (since there's no yakult) and KITKATS. went back 2 my room after a disapointing attempt 2 find food. put my stuff down. plonked on my chair.

Im sorta constrained to my room, cuz any noise made outside, wld wake my parents n my bro who apparently leads a very normal life. hah.

its been a LOOOOONNGG time since ive blogged. Jac's right. Blogging's for procrastinators who refuse to study. hah. Now that exams and all are over. Getting worried bout the results and stuff. 6Dec.

Just got back from Carol's bday not too long ago. Met up with the girls.. Had a nice time doin what we like best. LAUGHING. I cant emphasize enough how i like to LAUGH and have a great time. It takes away the stress and monotony of daily life. With them, ANYTHING can crack me up! haha.. Too bad carol's drunk by the time i got there... High maybe. She prolly knows im there and that's all. hah. Met a couple of familiar faces.. Lifen, and Shirley... Pri sch/secsch mates.. ahh.. SG's a biggg friendster web! haha.. Well, most of the time, its myself, key, prisc, barry, 2 of their sec sch friends (which i dont know their names) and mark (who went to slp 1/2 way tru) who were chitty chatting away. Wish they had more beer.. (i started late) aint enough stella.. wish they had kirin tho. heh.. nevertheless, Happy 21st bday carol!! hope u like ur pressies.

Bro's bday was last wed.. Got him a NUM tee. hah... ahhh.. big boy now he's 18! and i know he'd grow up just fine. Somehow, i need not worry bout him. Tho he never seem to be doin the stuff that he's supposed to, he always end up getting the grades, or making things work. So i aint worried bout him. What have i been doin for the past few days?? apart from work and the monotony of it... i have been ANTM-ing!!! American Next Top Model!!! Everyone knows i watch hk drama, listen to 933, and i dont watch OC, desp housewifes, Lost etc... Soooo it aint too late by starting with ANTM rite!? hah. Al influenced me.. Soo i caught the whole of season 2, 1/2 way tru season 4.. and im DETERMINED to be ANTM!! (yeah yeah.. yadayada yada)... i get toO caught up with the shows i watch. haha. p/s ANTM aint ASIAN top model. hah. its just a phase.. id get over it. but im serious bout losin that 2kg worth fats/flab/goo/muscle/weight/ on my bod. i MUST. but with me perpetually eating. chances are id gain anothe 2 rather than lose it. =( **shakes head** girls and their ever imperfect body. Apart frm ANTM, ive been watching PRISON BREAK! Weather these days are so uber cool/rainy/windy. how can i not slack a lil more in bed!? ahhh but 3pm is a tad too much i know. at this rate, im never gona get a tan before i hit the airplane for germany. i wanted to be a tan-asian there in the white ppl's land!! then again.. im gona be all covered up.. no one can see my bod cept for my face. AND as many ppl have always teased me... i DO NOT tan my face. its always covered in sunblock/cap/towel. Come to think of it.. no point tanning myself. haha

Ohhh ive decided to do something bout my "hello-arms" P/S: hello arms= flabby arms... where u wave hello, and those arms wld echo and ripple and vibrate along with it!? haa.. my hello arms are getting out of ctrl. cant do too much exercise since i tore my ligaments before... but ive GOTTA DO SOMETHING!!! they're waaayyyyy out of ctrl. Flabsy looking piece of pork. Is there any any any anyyyy plastic surgeon who can move my flabs and my love handles to my boobs?? in that way.. im still REAL, and it aint a plastic surgeory! haha...

Oh work. i dislike work. i so so so dislike it now. feel a lil pressured 2 hit my calls/hr... info aint that readily available now that Adrian aint sitting behind me, and my Team managers arent as approachable. i even have to email to those financie ppl on my own! it doesnt feel like home there. i dont even have a fixed sitting position to call my own. Just today, somebody told me to sit ELSEWHERE. right infront of the managers. what an effed up placed. . . placing me right under his nose! ugh. When cheah asked me hows work and all, id say its the same. work mah... yeah. indeed. Work was like home lastime.... now work's like work. =( im dragging every cell of mine to that place... figuring out where i should sit, what i should do, praying tt the next ass that calls wont be an idiot. thank god its a part time job. If i were to work there full time... id... id... id..... ok id prolly wont procrastinate that much. haha..

POST exams not-s0-blues.

Today's finance aper was a stunner. Its the first time ive gotta do a "mathsy" paper, with no need for working, why? cuz all they want is answers. u get it right, u get the mark, wrong by 0.01, u're WRONG! stunning. I wont fail thats for sure. but there goes my hopes for scoring well. to wat i noe so far, lya and prisc are kinda ganjiong over it.. if u're seeing tis babe... DONT WORRY! its weighted avg.. it cant be as bad as my DC paper.

Throughout this whole exams, ive popped a total of 10 (plus today 2 more) = 12 pimples!!! that's quite a mean feat for me. i dont mean pus oozing, big red shiny glossy, bulls eye pimples. Some are bigger, some are smaller, harder to squeeze, self popped, ... just glad pimples ^12 (^ = to the power) didnt decide to pop up all at 1 go.

Just for laughs la.. a tribute to those who think today's paper totally suck.

If i were to grow 2 pimple per month, with a discouting factor of 5%, how many pimples would i get in a year?

The night before was one horrible night. Due to the fact that i woke up late in the day... i couldnt sleep on the night before the finance paper. but i HAD to! paper was at 10am, and i had to wake up at say 7??? which leaves me 6 hrs of slp if i slept at 1am. But Noooo.. i had to study until 3am!!! cuz i really couldnt sleep and i was gettting nervous. Thats not the end. from bout 3.15 i was in bed... i toss-ed, turn-ed, flip-ed, flopp-ed, curse-ed, pray-ed, count-ed sheeps/bunnies/dogs/donkeys/monkeys/honkies.., tear-ed, scream-ed, drift-ed, sing-ed (just incase someone insults my english again, i DO KNOW that the past tense of sing is sang thank you.) ... i did everything i could! but i just couldnt get to sleep!!! prisc was suppose to wake me at 7, told her 2 change to 730 instead... i think i finally fell asleep at 545.. about the time my parents got up... AND prisc CALLED ME AT 7 BECAUSE SHE DIDNT GET MY MSG!... 1hr 15 mins of sleep.. and a math paper to go.. thats the ultimate combo for doom.

nevertheless, the immensely lengthy calculation for 1 pathetic mark, and the ultra lack of time kept me awake throughout. Headed to Jurong point to meet charlie... and i even had work at night. ugh. oh.. CHARLIE!.. gosh she's a "bad friend".. but i love her.. cuz she bought me ear rings. (yes, i do accept bribes)... shall decline to comment on what ive bought today, how much i spent, wat i spent on. that's private n confidential... i hear my pockets ripping, skinny piggy bank squealing, and coins tinkling.. cuz thats all ive got! =P .... alright. i know ive gotta b a lil more prudent here... but i totally enjoyed shopping today! WooHooO!!! and to add on, i received my clothes from catwalk spree! yay! so many new clothes, no ocassion to wear.. raHh.. al has to come back quick, or else no one to pat-tor with, no ocassion for new clothes. dressing up n goin out wif prisc is also fun! but she's seldom game for it...

Did a "fashion-parade" where i had 2 amuse al with my new buys. hah. now name me a girl who has enough pretty clothes and doesnt want more!? comeon ladies.. we all love shopping... face it guys.. u cant stop us! hah.. y not JOIN US!!! haha..

Snooze = dozing off on the table

Hibernation = 16 hours...

I want my Hibernation!! hahaa.. i know sleeping's a total waste of time. but it makes u lose weight. cuz u skip meals, while having a feast in dream land..
